I have completed a book about Resonant Silence Technique® (RST) called Quieting Dementia The Silent Key to Dementia Relief. The book describes RST and gives examples of the significant positive behavioral change and cognitive improvement with those with dementia that I have witnessed during and after sharing RST for over 20 years. The book is also a guide to finding our own inner peace through using the 18 RST sound-to-silence exercises in the book.
RST creates a calm and quieting environment for those with dementia while nurturing quiet within their minds with scientifically researched sounds to silence exercises.
The book provides three exercises that can be easily shared by loved ones and caregivers of those with dementia to help them find their own inner peace for healing and rejuvenation. These exercises can also help the person with dementia to manage their own symptoms and experience cognitive improvement. These exercises are the beginning of the RST path to fuller consciousness and joy for those with dementia and other cognitive and neurological conditions.
The book also speaks about practicing RST in professional clinical settings. Working as I have with those with dementia in skilled nursing facilities, memory care centers, hospitals and hospice can be challenging. But with my RST training you can learn how to work with these dear folks to bring them comfort, peace, cognitive improvement and joy. For this reason I ask that anyone wishing to share RST in clinical settings to complete my RST Certification Training Course to become a Certified Resonant Silence Practitioner (CRSP). A description and course outline of the training, with times, instruments involved, required reading, and payment can be found in the RST Events & Classes page of this website.
